glossybox june

Sorry for the picture spam, I just love the look of the packaging though! Never got round to ordering the first box in time with the full size NARS Illuminator, I'm not that bothered though honest! Everyone's being like 'blah blah gutted everyone who ordered past the first box' which personally I think is a bit sad, but I'm happy with this, I just love getting cute little parcels through the door and I get to try new products I may or may not have discovered otherwise!

It might sound silly but I was going to buy a mini dry shampoo for my bag the other day so I've saved a couple of pounds there, I had a sample of the serum before but dropped it and it smashed, I'm quite fussy with scents so I don't really like the perfume but I definitely think my mum will like it and the polish, although quite tiny, looks holographic in some online swatches and I have been after the GOSH holographic polish for a while, so I'm over the moon! The bath/shower gel smells lovely and fresh too. I like that this month everyone has slightly different things because of the little questionnaire you fill out when you sign up! I don't think that happened last time since it was the launch box? Anyway, overall I'm very pleased and now looking forward to the next one!

  1. I'm happy with my glossybox too! I don't get the negative reaction at all.
The whole idea is to try new things and some things work, some don't. This is exactly the same concept as buying new products in the shops but in 'trial' size :) x

  2. I got a different product to the oil, and red polish. Disappointed compared to the first, and I've just cancelled...

  3. My box turned up damaged (so much that the inside pink Glossybox was majorly dented) and I think that is why a lot of people are disappointed. I don't think we got our £10's worth this month either but hey ho, I just unsubscribed as I rather not waste any money on things I don't want! X

  4. Not every box will include something as great as a full size NARS product and peoples expectations were too high.
These products look great, I was too late for the June box but I'm looking forward to the July one!
People forget they are only spending £10!!
    xx

  7. I've just done a post showing what's in mine, I got a different OPI polish to you (I think I prefer yours!) and a Mama Mio exfoliator instead of the shower gel.

  9. I'm not going to get mine until Sunday (its posted to my parents) but I don't really understand why people are dissapointed. I think this looks like a great package. I thought it was pretty obvious that people are not going to get a full size NARS product every month!

  11. Good to see someone happy with their Glossybox. I don't get these, but when I saw people say how disappointed they were this morning on Twitter, I thought it must be really bad.
Yeah it's not as good as the last one, but it's still a blummin bargain for a tenner I reckon!

    The OPI looks lovely xx

  12. Love the box, so adorable, wish we had something similar here.
I really like the polish, and overall I think they're all nice samples, it's not like they can give a full Nars product every month.

  13. I love the concept of these, but I'd hope to see more in a box! I'd love to get OPI monthly though, not that would be a lovely surprise.

  14. You got some lovely bits, but I'm glad I didn't sign up to these boxes because £10 a month for products which you may not use is quite expensive! The O.P.I is cute and the Batiste is good, although those cans don't last long at all. I feel like the NARS intro box was clever marketing so an influx of people signed up when they heard they missed out on the NARS in the hope of getting something similar. In comparison to last month, I find this slightly a let down.

  15. Clearly they got the NARS illuminator last time because they managed to pull it for a launch, but over and over again they won't be able to do it. If people don't want to pay £10 for things that they might not like (but are still definitely worth £10!) then it probably isn't for them... which is why I never signed up in the first place! I'm too fussy about my make-up and stuff like that to just have samples all the time, and I don't have £10 to shell every month (at the moment) on things I might not need.

  16. I haven't heard about glossybox before so I'm going to look it up now! Its always good to receive things like this because even if its something you don't want at the time, you might find that its something that you find a need/use for later on!

  17. I wish they weren't charging us for p&p. and how could they put batiste in there you can get a full version for £1 at poundland.
    :(

    Great blog xx

  18. Haha I personally loved the 'picture spam', part of the fun of getting post is the packaging especially when it looks like that- I've recently rediscovered my old perfume boxes, some of them are really ornate and make cute storage for jewellery and make up.

  19. I am so getting into Glossybox once it's confirmed that I'll be working again this September!

I bought a Bastise dry shampoo a while back for travel purposes and found that it freshened my hair up but be caeful with white marks. I might actually add it to my daily bag too!
