Was recently sent a couple of the new ELF products to try out and review. I will be honest and say these products do smell a bit funky, kind of plastic but nothing so bad that I can't use them. The foundation is okay, if a little thick for this time of year and obviously because I got the lightest shade I have to mix with a little Chanel Bronze Universel (by mix I mean add a light layer over the top, best product ever!) and it's quite good coverage. Not bad for the £6.50 price tag!
I have definitely been getting on better with the matte lip colour which is such a lovely colour. Again a great price, and it's perfect for nights out when you don't want to risk losing an expensive lipstick! I wore it in this outfit post if you want to see how it looks on me!

Thanks for this post, was wondering what these products were like xo
ReplyDeletethat lip colours so cute :) think you could do a post on how you use your chanel bronze universel? xx
ReplyDeleteOoh I love that lip colour! I did a massive ELF splurge a couple of months ago though- I can never seem to only buy one or two things from that place x
ReplyDeleteI love the matte lip colour! I always bring cheap stuff with me on nights out, and this would be perfect for these summer parties.

I love the look of that lip colour. The foundation looks good for the price too although I can't be doing with weird smells on my skin!
ReplyDeleteIn my eyes, elf has never smelt great, so this comes as no surprise! My last elf products smelt like rotten eggs...put off for life!
ReplyDeleteI recently just got a haul from ELF thanks to their 50% off when you spend £30 or more.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get the foundation but I do love the apricot all in one concealer and the face primer.
After this post I'll have a try of the foundation. its rather hard to find a decent one when I'm pale as a ghost.
xo
Ive really been a fan of matte lip colours recently, some are really drying though but I think i'm just unluckily prone to dry lips :| I barely own any ELF products but these look really good, I may have to try the studio line!
