glossybox event

Last week I was invited to the GlossyBox event in London. I met Kate at the station and then we went on to have dinner with Lily, Victoria, Michelle and Emma - proper little bloggers' day out! We went to a place near Oxford Street called Vapiano - on Lily's recommendation - and while the concept was a bit alien (you have a card that gets swiped, you go up to order AND get your food, then you scan your card and pay before you leave) it was really fun and the food was good! Didn't take a picture of my pizza which is annoying, to be honest I didn't get very many shots at all!

The event was held in Morton's and took us all a while to find. It's a private club so there wasn't a sign, just the number outside! It was lovely upstairs though, so cosy and a really nice atmosphere. It didn't have the best lighting for taking photos but I didn't even think about it at the time as I was having such a nice evening talking to everyone and hearing about the company from the Glossy girls (who are all super nice!). We got given an empty box each and then got to choose five products each from two huge shelves full of lovely products - some we've seen in boxes before and some new ones. I picked up the facial oil I wanted a couple boxes back as well as some products with hype around them. I'm haven't used the polish but everything else seems really good so far!

I really enjoyed myself and I think I can speak for everyone that attended when I say they put on a really lovely event for us. It was great to meet Zoe, Louise, Milly and Katie too. Afterwards we went for drinks and then Kate stayed at mine. Beigel wouldn't leave her alone!

PS. Everyone that attended the event got a box early, I don't know about everyone else but mine arrived today and it is fantastic! I'm not going to spoil any surprises so keep your eyes peeled for when I post it next week! Have you signed up for a GlossyBox yet?

PPS. Here are some other posts about the event by Kate, Michelle, Emma and Victoria. Enjoy!
