Stila eyeliner, Leighton Denny 'Babydoll' polish, Robert Piguet Eau de Parfums
Currently on the hold with O2 customer service and have been for over an hour so thought I would take a peek at this month's GlossyBox that came in the post this morning. Multi-tasking win!
I think the 'beauty bag' (or makeup bag for people like me and you) was a really nice touch this month. Nice to get products that genuinely will last forever! Having a little play with the Dermalogica products and I am pleased to report that I am 99% sure I will like them all. The lip treatment smells/tastes amazing, and the skin polisher (fancy!) has small but noticeable grit so I'm looking forward to using that! Nothing worse than exfoliating with what is basically a cream.
Don't have many baby pink polishes so actually quite pleased with this one, although I do like the look of the orange one other people are getting too. Also quite liking the green liner even though I wouldn't usually go for this kind of shade. It's slightly glittery and quite metallic, and even though it's a liner I saw this tweet and love the look of it all over the lid! Definitely going to try that soon.

This months box almost makes me wish I was signed up to Glossybox! I was going to buy the HD brow palette from last month, until I saw it was £20 ha! xx

i'm pretty disappointed with it actually - the perfume was awful - i'll never use that eyeliner and the creams i have a million of already. obviously i need to test them out before i judge but i found it boring to be honest. think i'll cancel my subscription. x
ReplyDeleteForgot the boxes were due this week! Hopefully mine will be waiting when I get home. This month's looks pretty good, I'm a huge fan of Dermalogica so happy to see some of their products in the box!xx

ReplyDeleteNearly cancelled after the second and third boxes and thought I'd persevere. They'd redeemed themselves with the last two but today I was disappointed. Would have been brilliant if there was some variety but 3 dermalogica products is just lazy in my opinion. Cancel button already pressed.

ReplyDeleteabsolutely! i just don't think it's worth the £13 a month not knowing what i'm going to get and taking a risk in liking the products. there are so many people who buy it now anyway i can read others reviews and then decide myself if i want to buy a specific product. i'd rather spent £20 on a fullprice item knowing i'll like it rather than taking a chance.
i've already emailed them asking to cancel my subscription.
not worth it.
I really liked my box this month - I got the nail varnish in the orange colour which I love, however at the moment I'm a bit unsure about the eyeliner! x

I recently signed up to glossybox so this was my first.
ReplyDeleteOverall i'm liking the products (especially the eyeliner) however i got a bright tangerine nail varnish which is a bit :S, wish i'd gotten baby pink like you instead!
Also got mine today, wasn't pleased really! I don't want to judge because I haven't tried them out, but nothing in the box excites me. Like Age things and a BRIGHT orange nail vanish, I just wasn't happy, I cancelled my subsription after opening the box :( Bit dissapointed actually, I was so impressed by the Nars and Illamasqua and OPI products but just not worth it anymore for me :(

I got the nail polish in Sex Kitten (the silvery blue) and I absolutely love it. Although the pink would have been nice too!

ReplyDeleteI am not happy with mine at all. I got the same as you! The perfumes are sooo awful and sample sizes I could pick up at a counter and I hate the colour of the nail polish. Dermalogica breaks me out and it is for aged skin...hmmm...not happy bunny. I think I am going to cancel mine as I have subscribed to feel unique beauty box and it is so much better! SOrry not a fan at all!
