Ever thought "I'll pass" about something for a while, and then a million signs crop up so you see it in a whole new light? Well, I say a million when in fact Zoe and Lily tried to make me buy it a week ago after the TOWIB event and then I saw that Lisa Eldridge wore it in this video. Torture!
It is undeniably pricey at £110 (I know!!), and is 100% silk. The material justifies the hefty price tag a little bit but then again it's dry-clean only so that would cancel out the 'cost per wear' theory a little bit? I don't know, I need your help. It's also my birthday next month. Donations welcome..

Ohh it is very pricey, but you know, you could always buy it as a birthday treat for yourself!

Although it is very pretty, and would feel so so nice and soft to wear..! I think it's a bit crazy at £110! You might be able to find a similar version somewhere?

That's a gorgeous shirt!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I'd buy it personally as I could see myself getting sick of the print after a while. If it was plain peach with the black edging I'd be more inclined to buy it. But if you can afford it then go for it! It's definitely an Emma blouse! x
i actually have this blouse on my 'wants' list too so i say go for it! ;) X
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous but very expensive!! If you can afford it definitely get it, otherwise ask for a birthday present ?! haha xx

That's fate! You should so get it! It's such a lovely piece!!!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.elle-yeah.com
You could ask mom or dad to buy it for your birthday, or Christmas or something.. Personally I would never buy a shirt that expensive, so I am not going to tell you 'you have to buy it omg it will suit you so well'. I mean, there's a lot of knock-offs of those kind of blouses at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, that's just what I think of it! :p
Love,
Shanah.
I say pass purely because its so pricey and a very 'on trend' print. Not to mention dry cleaning is far moe expensive than you think!

Oooh it's so pretty! It's one of those annoying moments where you know Primark do something similar but it's never quite the sane. :/ Ugh my paychecks are never quite big enough *cries*
ReplyDeleteI reckon you should just go for it and treat yourself. It is super pretty. xx
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely but it is definitely not worth that much money! And dry cleaning is so expensive! x
ReplyDeletebig price tag, but its your birthday so just get it lol im sure your get your moneys worth wear wise out of it...so very cute would suit you down to the ground xx
ReplyDeleteIt's really your style, get it as a bday treat x

ReplyDeleteUgh. It is so so beautiful. Time to rob a bank.. xx
ReplyDeleteIt's not something I'd spend the money on, but if you have that kind of money spare then you should as it's such a cute shirt! Although there are a lot of animal print shirts around, which are a lot more purse friendly xx
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a big price tag... Honestly, it looks like something you'd find at Primark ! I think if you wait it out, you might find something similar for a better price ! Think of all the other things you could buy with that money aswell. If you're too hyped up about it, get it as a birthday present ! x
ReplyDeleteI love it! I saw it in Topshop the other day and was so tempted to try it on, but I ended up buying other things so I had to put this particular shirt on hold. It is rather pricey though, and it would suck if it ever got spilled on :(
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty print but not worth the £110 price tag! I'm sure they sell similar ones in Primark or somewhere. Also the silky sheen can look a little 'pyjama-like' so I'd definitely try it on + decide what it would go with in your wardrobe before you commit to buying it or not!
ReplyDeleteIts so gorgeous! It is your birthday so you should treat yourself :)
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I love it, but for something that "trendy" you could buy numerous pieces with similar prints for the same amount (that don't have to be dry cleaned). And at the same time, in a few months when people are getting over the animalia explosion you won't be bummed about the fact you spent so much on one top.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice shirt bit £110 is a lot, plus dry cleaning. I'm not sure I'd be able to justify that, I'm sure there'll be plenty of copies soon, or perhaps ones in a different material xx
ReplyDeleteits beautiful... DO IT. (Im a terrible example of clothes-related self control!) x
ReplyDeleteNot worth it for the price tag for such a trend piece! Unless you think you're going to get a LOT of wear out of it for years to come I would give it a miss x

I think it's gorgeous but sooo expensive! I don't think I'd ever spend that much on one piece of clothing ): As animal prints are popular atm I reckon there will be cheaper copies coming out this winter :) x
ReplyDeleteIt does look really nice, but I think you will be able to find something similar to this, or it might be on sale soon. xx
ReplyDeleteas lovely a blouse as it is, and it really, really is, you could buy many a thing for this price. just think, a few pairs of shoes or bags, etc. i don't think it's justifiable :(
ReplyDeletemany, many great thing > one nice thing.
just my opinion :) x
It is beautiful, but you should do whatever you think is best.
ReplyDeleteAlthough if it helps, I had a tiny stain on a dress that was 100% silk- I live in a village that hasn't even got public transport after 5:30pm, let alone dry cleaning, so I washed it on a delicate cyle. And it came through both the washing machine and dryer ABSOLUTELY FINE!
That's not to say that would be the case for all items, but washing recommendations are sometimes just that: recommendations.

It's gorgeous but £110?!! WOW! That sure is one hefty price tag. Maybe ask for it for your birthday/christmas?! :) xx
ReplyDeleteOh great! Now i want it!! Its so lovely!!!! But really expensive for Topshop. Have a look on Very as Diana Vickers has one in her range that similar, ok not as nice, but fraction of the price... x
ReplyDeletewooh! thats a lot of money! but if you'v got it, spend it!
ReplyDeletehttp://alicebeablog.blogspot.com/
I'm sure you could find similar for cheaper without being dry clean only. It's nice, but I think if it were my birthday soon I would want to buy lots of nice things, instead of one lovely thing.

gorgeous but crazy price, can't be justified!
ReplyDeletehttp://hanelizred.blogspot.com/
I can so so so see you wearing this, but i can't see you get £110 worth of wear out of it, especially with dry cleaning on top!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful though!
ReplyDeleteGo on treat yourself

I saw this on the Topshop website and was clicking 'put in basket' when i saw the price. It is so expensive, but beautiful!

It's gorgeous - you could always hang on and see if it's in the winter sales x
ReplyDeleteSO CUTEEEEEEEE! But really is pricey eeeek :/ xx
ReplyDeleteOh my, best print ever? I can understand why you're tempted but it's so expensive... Student discount?
ReplyDeleteI used to have a load of dry clean only shirts (I worked in a stupidly expensive shop) and it was a nightmare! The print is gorgeous though...
ReplyDeletereally wouldn't bother, there will be copies in Primark to fulfil your dog-print blouse shaped needs at a tenth of the price, and you won't have to bother taking it to the dry cleaners every time you wear it. save your money! :) x
ReplyDeleteIt would look so amazing on you though! I think maybe ask for a few small donations for christmas? It may be a pain to wash, well, dry clean, but when I saw it on my screen I though how amazingly you it was.
