New luxury online fashion retailer THEN AND NOW have teamed up with Essie to create a shade of the brand's name, Then and Now. I would describe this shade as 'elephant grey' - it's definitely grey but with a slight hint of brown so that it doesn't look chalky. I do prefer the diffusion line polishes at Boots as the brush is bigger, but this type of brush was no problem either really and was perfectly opaque and even with two coats. Lovely Autumn transition shade!
What do you think of this colour? Are you a fan of Essie polishes? What shades are your top picks for AW12?
EDIT: This is in fact identical to Chinchilly - who'd have thought?

This is a lovely colour! Reminds me of Leighton Denny's Supermodel, the perfect nude. I love the colours of Essie polishes, always lusting after them, but they're a tiny bit too pricey for plains in my opinion!

I hate when people post like what I'm about to do, but I genuinely just did a post on nail polishes, would you have a look, as I really love and respect your blog haha... ReplyDeleteThought this was Essie Chinchilly when I first saw it, couldn't tell the two apart!
ReplyDeleteThat's because it is! Same number on the bottom of the bottle (696) and everything :/
DeleteThis is gorgeous! I think this would look lovely with a gold glitter over the top.
