Another one of those MAC products that everyone seems to talk about is Fix+. I wanted to see what the fuss was about for a while but never realised you could get a travel size till Lily mentioned it once (I think?). I've been using it for a couple of months now on and off to see if it really makes a difference to my makeup. I can't remember not using some kind of powder after foundation to set it, I don't think I could go without it now but I still want a dewy finish.
I apply this after I've finished my whole face to bring back the look of 'skin' and take away the cakiness powder can sometimes give. I keep the bottle in my bag and spritz if my face feels a bit dry (usually on the underground). I don't think it really smells of much though like the product description says. Have you tried Fix+? What do you think?

Aww cute little bottle.. but do you think it sets your makeup well? I'm a powder girl myself! LC x
ReplyDelete£7.50 isn't bad, I might splash out on the travel size one for when I've been on the tube to wake my face up when I get to work! x
ReplyDeleteI'm a powder girl too! When I try and go for a dewy look, I just end up putting powder on because it doesn't look right lol This sounds like a nice product though and worth giving the travel sized version a try!

i love my fix+ I always call it 'face hairspray' though which confuses people :)

I've heard so much about this stuff and have no idea why I haven't tried it :O The mixed reviews tend to put me off a little, but since the travel version is so cheap I may as well give it a go :)
ReplyDeleteI really love using fix+, such a great product. xo
ReplyDeleteBeen tempted by this but didnt know there was a travel size, how much was it?

Apologies just realised im being blind!1 xx
DeleteI've never tried the Fix+, but I have used the Urban Decay setting spray and I like it a lot. They have another version called "Dew Me" that I've been wanting try try because it's supposed to give an every dewier finish (as the name would imply). xx
ReplyDeleteThat isn't too bad of a price, and I find travel sizes really useful, especially for the underground and trains- like you say. I've heard lots about this and really want to try it out

i used a whole bottle of fix + trying to convince myself i needed it. To be honest it didnt really do much for the look of my make up. I tended to use it when i'd just come off the tube or if my face felt dry, the same as you. wouldnt say it was a must have product though! x
ReplyDeletei might give this a go.. but my face always looks really shiny and i feel like this will not help at all for me!
ReplyDeletei didnt know that they did the travel size edition either though... thanks for letting me know - much much cheaper and better for just trying it out! :)

I'm tempted to give this a go but some people just say it works at hydrating the skin not doing much for make-up :/ x
ReplyDeleteI want to try this, but I've read mixed reviews! I like a dewy finish though so it sounds like I'd probably enjoy this...
ReplyDeleteI really want to try this out!
ReplyDeleteI genuinely can't live without my fix +. I use it, as you say, to take away the cakey layer of powder/foundation, but also to wet my eyeshadow brushes to minimise fall out, to spot clean my brushes if I'm changing eyeshadow colour and to refresh and cool my face during and after working out. Its an incredible product <3
ReplyDeleteI've never tried this on but i would love to!
ReplyDeleteI've heard off a lot of people that this is great! Need to get it

This is a product which took me a long time to eventually buy. I was never sure id get alot of use fron it & I finally picked it up at Duty Free & have to say I've used it loads.
ReplyDeleteI use it to freshen up during the day after Ive applied my powder or i just spray it onto my face if I am warm or need a little pick me up.
Im not too sure if thats what its intended for but thats how I use it. People say its a setting spray but not too sure if this keeps my makeup on longer but it does make it look fresh. So I like it for that reason :o)
I've been wanting to try this for a while but wasn't sure what the outcome would be like, will definitely give it a go now
