philosophy purity made simple

Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser: £17.50* (240ml)

Philosophy's Purity Made Simple is a 'one-step daily facial cleanser' to remove makeup as well as cleanse & tone whilst hydrating the skin. I've been using this most days for a few months now but didn't really know what to think about it. Personally I remove my makeup first with either some kind of hot cloth cleanser or Bioderma Créaline H2O, then apply this onto damp skin and use my hands to massage it in or alternatively use it with my Clarisonic.

Recently though I applied as usual with my hands and left it on for a few minutes, and when I washed it off my skin felt so soft and clean. Much better than when I'd used it previously, so only now have I decided to post about it as I really like it a lot more now! I was starting to wonder what all the fuss was about so I'm glad I carried on with it. I'm not really sure if I like the scent or not, I think it's lavender which I'm not usually a fan of, but at the same time it smells 'good for you' if that makes sense! Overall I do really like this cleanser now, it's gentle but effective at cleansing your skin. It does seem expensive but you only need a small amount so it's going to last forever. Even so it does come in a smaller size if you're not sure! And also comes in a little festive box suitable for a stocking filler!

Have you tried this cleanser or any Philosophy products in general? Would you recommend any of them?

    2. I love Treacle Moon! They do an awesome body wash that's scented like caramel shortbread or something like that, and it smells absolutely heavenly x

  3. I was supposed to get a free bottle of it for my birthday because sephora gives out free gifts on your birthday as long as you buy something, but I never got around to it. Kind of regret that now =/

  4. I've heard this doesn't have very good ingredients in it which has completely put me off buying this, it sounds like such a nice cleanser otherwise though!

  23. It has pepper and fragrance in it, which are super irritating! :( Philosophy has some nice products, but this is not one of them.
