tweezerman cheetah print

Tweezerman blue cheetah print slant tweezers: £22*

So after talking about them the other day and having blogged about them in the past I thought I'd share my newest pair of tweezers with you all. I totally feel that everyone should have a pair of Tweezermans - they aren't cheap but they are absolutely amazing and make plucking so easy, which reduces the pain as it's quicker (although personally I can't vouch for that as years of tweezing has rendered the skin where my brows are virtually unable to feel pain!).

I've got 3 or 4 pairs of these now, they do tend to go missing a lot as other people in the house like using them but refuse to let me buy them a pair of their own (cough dad cough). Bottom line is I totally swear by them!

Have you ever tried a pair of Tweezerman tweezers? Would you ever splurge on something like this?

little red

cape: American Apparel
dress: Glamorous*
necklace: Cheap Frills*
shoes: sheinside*

I really wasn't sure about keeping this cape from American Apparel but the weather was a bit overcast today and my fake tan has almost gone so I wanted to be covered up. I posted a 'keep or return' picture on instagram and the result was a resounding yes to keeping it! Now I want the black one too so I can pretend to be Severus Snape. The only thing stopping me is the fact I got 40% off this one in a sale so I'm going to wait for another discount I think!

Absolutely besotted with this necklace from Cheap Frills. Currently racking up a huge wishlist from there, it's all so pretty - Lord Pug be mine! I've had loads of compliments on it already and I've only worn it twice!

Really need to get back into the swing of posting outfits more regularly, apologies to everyone who says they're their favourite kind of posts! My walls are going to be white hopefully in the not too distant future, RIP pink background.

nars deep throat blush

NARS Deep Throat blush: £21

Deep Throat (stay with me here!) is a powder blush described as 'peach with shimmer' which personally I find much more pink than peach - for reference I would call Gina a true peach personally! I've wanted this shade for a while and finally got it applied in Selfridges last week. The MUA - the campest French guy ever, he was awesome (!) - wanted me to go for Gaiety which did look nice but as I'm prone to blushing easily I like a warmer shade to balance it out.

I love the slight hint of shimmer in this - perfect for when you don't have enough time to apply highlighter, but it also works just as well with one. NARS blushes like this work especially well with NARS highlighter powders (who'd have thought..), my cheeks are loving NARS products lately it seems! It's really easy to build up the intensity of the shade or just apply lightly for a wash of colour. I tend to do the latter with this one as it's quite pink on me!

If you're after one of these blushes but aren't sure which shade to go for, I'd definitely recommend this one. Everyone says Orgasm is the best, which I have and do use/enjoy but the shimmer in Deep Throat is much more subtle so it's a lot harder to go overboard with it. My eyes look green in the photo, but the blush shade is true to life I promise!

Have you tried Deep Throat? What's your favourite blush, NARS or otherwise? Cream? Powder? Let me know!

glossybox june 2012

Glossybox Exclusive Pro Beauty Brush, HD Brows Precision Tweezers,
BM Beauty Summer Warmth Bronzer, Green People Sun Lotion with Tan
Accelerator & Vichy Dermablend starter kit via GlossyBox*

This month's GlossyBox has a 'sexy summer' theme - products with sun, sea and sand in mind. Inside my box was a pair of HD Brows tweezers, which unfortunately don't live up to my expectations (I'm a lifetime fan of Tweezermans!) but are still pretty good and handy to have! I'm looking forward to trying out the Vichy concealer kit - I like that there are six shades so you can mix them if there isn't a perfect shade (still more catered to light skins though which is a shame). Sun lotion always comes in handy and it's a nice little size for my bag - happy to see that it has tan accelerator in it too! I haven't used the bronzer yet but I've used other products from the brand before and thought they were nice. I really wanted to like the brush but the hairs are quite scratchy! Fine to chuck in your handbag I'm sure but it won't be the first one I reach for when doing my makeup. What do you think of this box?

Overall I think this is an okay box, some boxes I've seen have a Caudalie fragrance inside which I would have liked but I don't really mind! Are you subscribed to GlossyBox? If so what have you got in your box this month?
