After watching a few of Lisa Eldridge's tutorial videos I noticed she frequently features the Suqqu Eyebrow Liquid Pen. I am quite happy with my eyebrows at the moment but something just stops me wearing them bare. One is slightly squarer and the other rounder, so I need a little help in making them look more symmetrical (although eyebrows are supposed to be sisters, not twins- but what's wrong with twin sisters?). This product gives a very natural looking finish, almost as if you aren't wearing anything on the brows. I know the colour description is a little scary - green?! - but when worn on the skin within the hairs you honestly can't tell the difference. I have trouble finding a good match for my hairs, a lot of products are too red or dark, but this is pretty much perfect! That said though, I probably wouldn't repurchase (I bought it with a gift card I was given) as it's very expensive for a little felt pen.

Have you ever tried this or something similar? I might try a GOSH brow pen next if the colour match is good?

Made the mistake of wearing a jumper in scorching heat- at least it was a crop, summer berries, tacky but amazing necklace, me and Katie with our Essex pals, sticky toffee pudding canapés (!!), pancetta & avocado salad, most favourite tee (it's really old and has no label, so I don't know where you could get one now), John Chapman from The Lean Machines inside out at a Stageline & Mistair event, strawberries and melon in my old Peter Rabbit bowl, summer cider, sofa cuddles, Dress Up Topshop dress (last year) and Miss Selfridge cuffs, steak tacos and ginger beer cocktails at wahaca, and my friend Geri's hen night last night complete with willy straws and a butler in the buff. Great week!

mac cut a caper lipstick

Oh, another of the many infamous peachy pink lipsticks that are always released as limited edition and always sell like hotcakes! Cut a Caper is actually a re-release, I first bought it when it was part of the Tartan Tale collection a couple of years ago. I missed out on a few others that have been released in the past year and it's my most used shade ever, so when I heard it was being brought out for a limited time again I bought two more!

Cut a Caper is a lustre formula, which means the colour payoff won't be the biggest but somehow the shade looks pretty opaque even on my quite pigmented lips! The glossy finish works really well with it too, as if it were matte maybe it would look quite garish on the lips. Due to the formula this lipstick is prone to melting a little in the heat, so be careful! And if you love it was much as I do buy a backup or two (as I have done, oops!).

What do you think of this lipstick? It seems to be back in stock on the MAC website if you want to get your paws on it! If peachy tones aren't really your thing, tell me your favourite lipstick or favourite brand of them!

The arrival of my boxes seems to roll around so quickly! This month the theme of the box is based around festivals, so all the products are easy to use on the go.. so what did I get inside my box this month?

I think I got this Nuxe oil in a feelunique box before (RIP!) and even though it's multi-purpose, using it on my face made me breakout which never happens to me! I'll stick to using it on my hair and dry areas on my body from now on.

My favourite product from this box has to be the salt spray, it smells amazing and doesn't make your hair feel sticky or full of product like I've had with other similar products. Brilliant for these hot days so your undone style looks effortless but intentional! I also really like the Jelly Pong Pong product, it's a lovely raspberry pink but I don't think I'd use it on the cheeks like the packaging suggests as the consistency feels a little tacky for me.

I quite like the concept of the BEX fragrance, the actual scent is unisex but leaning towards the masculine side I guess. I do really like it though and it would be nice in the summer compared to a typically girly heavy floral.

The Monu cream is green (albeit pale green) so looks a little scary to use, I'll probably use this on a really hot day to counteract any potential redness. I haven't used the bonus Elizabeth Arden sachets yet either, but I may save them for travelling or something. What do you think of this month's box?
