MAC Stereo Rose Mineralize Skinfinish must have to be one of the most coveted limited edition products I've ever heard about; so naturally when the re-release was announced as part of MAC's Après Chic collection I had to get my hands on it! I've been curious about it as I've never tried an MSF and have a huge soft spot for coral cheek products.
Stereo Rose is a coral powder with hints of pink and has a gold shimmer veining. It's so gorgeous to look at in the pan and translates beautifully onto the skin too. The magic of this MSF, and the reason I would say that it's so hyped, is because I think it would suit all skin tones really well. It's soft to the touch and very blendable so it's easy to use just a little of it or build it up depending on preference and skin colour. On darker tones this would look lovely as a highlighter and I can't wait to wear this in the summer with a tan. It has a frosty finish and mimics the appearance of a highlighter and blush all in one. Due to Stereo Rose having a huge fan base and always selling out just as fast as it's re-promoted again, there are a bunch of dupes and I don't think it's a totally necessary purchase. Then again, if you're anything like me you'll beg to differ! I would assume Stereo Rose would eventually be welcomed into the permanent line of Mineralize Skinfinishes, but nothing causes a stir quite like a limited edition beauty product.
Do you get sucked into the hype of limited edition products? Are you tempted with Stereo Rose?
PS. It seems to be sold out online but it should be available in stores still! Let me know in the comments :)
