Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Top Coat

Nails Inc Kensington Caviar topcoat: £12*

Over the past few months I've stopped wearing false nails and opted for painting my natural talons instead. I loved falsies as the colour would stay chip-free for as long as I wanted to wear them which was fuss-free and low maintenance. On real nails it's not so easy, so it's more often than not vital to use a good top coat after your polish of choice to ensure it stays on the nail for longer. Nails Inc's Kensington Caviar Top Coat performs beautifully on top of regular polishes - quick-drying and helps to even out the surface of the nail disguising any smudgy bits you may encounter! The finish is super glossy and actually stays glossy compared to other top coats I've found that tend to dull down soon after application.

The only downside to this polish, for me, is the fact that it's tinged with an orange hue which can alter the colour of my polish underneath at times. For this reason I keep this top coat for my darks and reds in my collection, but there are a few other top coats in the Nails Inc range which I'm very keen to try and compare! Have you tried this? Are you a Nails Inc fan?

  6. I'm a big Nails Inc fan, but it's a shame this top coat is tinted. I always try and get a clear one so I can use it on any colour.

I'm having a Benefit cosmetics giveaway on my blog at the moment, would love for you to take a look.

  14. I think this product makes my nail polish last shorter, unfortunately. It always chips quicker too. That must be my nails, at least it works for others :) xx

    1. Says £12 in the caption below the photos, it's not the cheapest but it is great! I think you can save on regular polishes as long as you use a good base/top coat :)

  19. Love this, somehow got the full size and the base coat caviar as a set in Boots for £12 last summer?! Bargain, (not sure if they still sell it like that!) The orange tint is a little annoying, but it works like a charm to stop chips, and helps strengthen my weak nails x
