bikini: New Look
TravelSupermarket.com are launching an amazing competition today, called Worldwide Wardrobe, where five lucky winners will be whisked off to various destinations. There are five categories in total; Full Moon Party in Thailand, Sightseeing in Paris, Shopping in London, Cocktails in New York and finally, Clubbing in Ibiza. All you need to do to enter is create an outfit like I've done above, with a budget of £200. It doesn't have to be dead on, mine only came to around £160! I've been chosen as the judge* for the Ibiza category, which means I get to pick who to send off on an amazing trip to the party island (can I come with?). Each winner will also receive the £200 budget to buy the actual outfit they designed.
For the clubbing theme, I kept my Ibiza outfit quite simple and comfy, centred around the classic staple of pale high-waisted denim shorts, adding in pops of neon and gold accessories. I thought the acid green bikini top would look lovely peeking through the sheerness and cut-outs of the tee and the bag is perfect for going out with as it's attached to the wrist- making it much less likely to lose your things! The watch is also water resistant in case you end up splashing a drink or three over your arm, and the sunglasses are perfect for hiding your hangover on the beach the next day.
It's up to you if you want to enter one, three or all five. Obviously I'm only going to be judging the Ibiza entries but I'm excited to see everyone's styling ideas all the same! Check out all the details for how to enter here. The best way for me to see them as I go along is just to simply link to your post in a comment below. Of course you can tweet or email me too, but it would be nice to have a place grouping them all together if anyone's in need of some inspiration or wants to have a look.
The competition will be running till 5th June, so you have plenty of time to get your entries in. What do you think of my picks? Best of luck to anyone choosing to enter! I'm off to daydream about a beach holiday.. sigh.
*I am being compensated for my role as a judge in the competition.
